I can see where people can misuse the word reasoning but how can real reasoning be an abuse?

 

There also needs to be an ability to communicate said reasoning.

 

I believe the "abuse" to come in when folks tweek the reasoning to their purposes. Medicine sales do this all the time, so do politicians. They make a statement about how good something is for you because it does this and that and minimize the fact that "it" also does "this". Like when your country turns communist that is a good thing because all people are treated the same and receive the same....but is it.

 

Some use it, some abuse it, and some simply lack the ability.

Spin? I admit that some seem to be painful in their torturous reasoning. They refuse to admit that they can't get there from where they start. But that is just poor reasoning.

 

One mans reasoning is another mans foolishness.

 

Many consciously, or sub consciously, ignore it.

Some people who know better are deliberately unreasonable just for the sake of being contrary and trying to exercise control over others.

Why do you take this so thread so personal? It really seems to strike a very raw nerve with you, so much so you would launch an all out attack on me in every thread you could. Buck up.

I really don't mind the attack, and I do not want a mod action in my favor. I hope they let you run with it.

 

Oh I don't take it personally. I just find it annoying when people talk about everyone else without considering the possibility that they are guilty of exactly what they are accusing everyone else of. And your posts were oozing it....
