First the new people down toward the end of the road, who have a really nice big yard, decided they need to walk their dog all up and down the road just about every day. It pooped in my yard once and the woman claimed she usually cleaned up after it but she "forgot" to bring a bag. No problem, I have some on hand. Watched as she cleaned it up. Next thing you know the little kid who can't be much more than 6 or 7 is walking the dog and letting the dog tease other fenced dogs and he never carries a bag or cleans up poo. The kid can't even control the dog. Well today the dog is totally loose and running the neighborhood. When I went to my other house (on the same road) I step in some wicked nasty smelly dog poo.
At the other house I see where something has been digging in the freshly turned dirt around some shrubs I have just planted. At first I think it's squirrels but then I see a cat laying on my daylilies (which are struggling anyway). Chased it off but within 10 minutes it was back again.
Yep, my penned ducks were a serious threat to the neighborhood but everyone can let their dogs and cats roam free and poop in my yard.
I'm more than a little ticked. My shoe really stinks and I shouldn't have to deal with other peoples animals destroying my property. I am glad I had shoes on this time, a lot of times I don't wear shoes at that place. But man! That dog has some serious digestive issues.
