Its not a lot wet, the shed has developed a leak, which I've just noticed and the timothy hay is damp, and the pellets are too, will it be ok so long as I move them to a dryer spot?

The hay should be alright as long as you get it to a dryer spot. The pellets . . . can you sift out the stuff that got wet, or is it all damp? I'd be worried that it might develop mold. Better to dump a bag of pellets than lose all your rabbits.

Sorry to hear about your pellets, Nickie. Ours got wet a couple weeks ago because either the wind knocked it off or some critter figured out how to get the lid off the rubbermaid container. We were able to salvage most of the feed, but wound up putting the rest in the compost heap.

We now have the container bungee'd shut.

we had this happen when we had bunnys, we split the bag up into plastic bags and froze it. pulled the bags out the night before feeding, as it was summer time the ramaining ice cooled then like an ice cube!

How clever!! I'm going to make note of this just in case it happens again. :)

A 5 gallon bucket with A tite fitting Lid hold 25# of pellets. Thats how mine are stored. The Hen Scratch and laying Crumbles are in 20 Gallon Garbage cans With A Black TARP Strap going thru the lid to the Handles. Never had A can/bucket get opened ,Even if it gets knocked over..
