by not counting I can say , I don't know , some.

my wife actually wouldn't have cared , and now really doesn't.

and you know why I don't own a 1911 , my hands are so big the grip digs into my palm so they are uncomfortable to shoot.

 

So buy a Desert Eagle 50 A&E and it will fit your hands. Then buy a teeth Guard as the recoil will rattle your teeth.

 

Glock have a longer grip , and work just fine
and you never have a problem finding holsters for a Glock 17

 

I can remember when a Colt 1911, was $189.00 new in the box. Now I see cheap knockoffs for over a thousand dollars. I carried a Colt Government Model in .45 for many years. I have used them to harvest game from jackrabbits, to white tailed deer. I carried one in the bush in West Africa, and the streets here in the US. To me they are a work of art.

I don't carry one today, because their are better less expensive choices.

my parents paid 40,000 for their house 47 years ago , it is assessed at 375,000 now
