I am not that up to speed on frontends but I have never seen a frontend that was set to toe out. Toe in gives control to the steering and stops wandering tendency of the vehicle under different road conditions.
Thanks for the replies....the night I posted we finally found the Honda book, and it says Toe in 0. I'm not sure how much dh put it toe in, and it helped a little but still shimmies a bit. As of right now its parked because I think it wants to die a slow death, lol. Its a 89', with almost 300,000 on it. Time to get a new work car for dh I think!
it may be .... when i was working on hondas ... they had 800lb springs on the rear ..400 lbs on the front .. we'd bring the caster angles forward by a 1/4" and the camber anywhere from 1.5 to 3 degrees depending where we were at ... i do know that the 0 degree setting is bs cause when you bust into 3 digits mph's that sucker will be all over the place ...
