After checking out Highlands blog with his pigs in his pond this question came to me. Can they swim?

Didn't you see the movie "Babe" . I'm sure I recall the piggy swimming very well in that. Pigs can't fly, though they look funny with lipstick.
The expression "Lipstick on a Pig". Imagine a vision of that swimming.

I don't know but I suspect mine is practicing. Been raining for four days here, raining so hard this morning I could barely see the garage less than thirty feet away.

ROFL! Do they enjoy a trough of wine while soaking?
Firefly could you accomodate us Northern Yanks and define ROFL?

MilkinPIgs has a 5-Litre Box of White Zinfandel plumbed to a nipple waterer,
Thus pre-marinating his pork products while they luxuriate in the Jacuzzi.

Firefly I can just see you taking Puerco and Sunshine weekending on the Outer Banks so they can swim and dig clams for you,- just be sure to make them work the oars on the rowboat from Morehead City out to the Shackleford Banks. If they have some White Zin with their clams, don't let them try to climb the lighthouse!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I try to get them to man the oars but they keep whining that they don't have thumbs. Honestly, children can be so lazy and useless!

If I can figure out where to tie that tether I can walk them down to the river to catch some trout. But then someone said feeding fish was bad for their flavor. Well, enough wine should cure that problem! Either their flavor or my perception of it! (Except I think it should be red zin or a nice merlot--real pork is not a white meat.)

Reminds me of an HT member (whose name escapes me) with the sig line "I love cooking with wine. Sometimes I even put it in the food." rofl :baby04:

The photo posted by Xandra's Zoo is actually one of this year Pig Olympics. It is held in China. Follow her link (right click on the photo and it will give you the url at the properties line) to a few other photos from the competition :) One of the photo captions said they are a special breed of pig from Thailand. Miniature pig, I think....

Unfortunately this didn't work on my computer, and searching the Post's site didn't get me anywhere. But I did discover this! http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=1703102273323236741 Be sure to check out the pig that adopted tthe puppies, too, in the right-hand column. BTW, teh Russians dominated the Olympics, as happens so often!
