The fuel gauge on my John Deere S130 riding mower stopped working. It just displays 6.0. In researching the problem, it seems this gauge is defective and fails anywhere from a couple of months of usage to a couple of years. John Deere has the nerve to charge over $70 for a replacement if you can find a dealer that has one. I finally found one and had to pay about $85 for it. Lowes has it advertised at almost $110. They are hard to find because they are failing in large numbers/
The gauge is 1 1/2" x 2". There is no guarantee this one will last more than a couple of months. So much for John Deere quality.
