I know that I am in zone 9a. Question is when a catalog or site says: Zone 6 and higher.... Does that mean 6,5,4,3,etc or 6,7,8,9,etc. ?? :bash: Anyone know?

    6,7,8,9.
Since the zones refer to winter temps and is used to say how cold hardy a plant is (without regard to how the summer heat might kill it), you won't be excluded from many :)

Thanks. That was really driving me crazy. I started using a site awhile back and it says zone # and higher a lot.
In case you are wondering the site is www.helpmefind.com - great rose info. site. I've only been planning my rose garden forever - finally doing some work on it as the heat and time allows.
