I just got in from my garden, where I thinned out my carrots, and I am so thrilled with the soil here, I feel like I'm about to pop!
Understand that this year, we moved in the middle of June, and I didn't have the opportunity to put in much of a garden. I did, however, get a small area planted with beets, carrots, peppers, tomatoes, and beans.
The thinnings alone produced about six pounds worth of baby carrots -- all about 3" long!
I can't wait to see what kind of "mature" carrots I get!
