We had an incident yesterday that left 6 young chickens dead, and two turkeys wounded. One turkey has substantial wounds on its back near its tail. I covered it with blu kote, and they made it through the night ok. This morning the wounds looked fairly wet, kind of weepy. (no pus, no odor) will just blu kote be ok, or should I use some type of antibiotics?

Last year two of our turkeys wandered too far from Frank and a wandering dog got them. They had large gaps of exposed muscle on their backs and necks. We applied BluKote liberally and kept them in the "critter hospital" aka a large rubbermaid in the spare shower with deep shavings for easy "scooping" and a hanging water bottle. I did reapply the Blukote a few times. After a couple of weeks, the skin had re-grown and they were re-introduced to the flock.
