I was digging up where I am putting my garden today and noticed a heck of a lot of earthworms. Especially since it is still pretty chilly here (I am 2 hours north of Detroit). So for my veggie garden are these guys friends or foe?

Friends! They will till and aerate your soil for you. They will eat organic matter in your garden and in its place leave nutrient rich castings (worm manure).

I'm always very glad when I find worms in my garden. It means the soil is good, or at least on the way to getting good!

They are the best gardening friend you will ever find.

Earthworms are a great indicator of good healthy soil. Good for you!
