What do you use for worming goats. I just gave some ivomec injectable. You would think I shot them. They screamed rolled around on the ground. After 5 minutes they were fine.
Is there anything easier on me, the goats, and my wallet. I keep aprox 50 goats and I am expanding my herd.

Give the Ivomec injectable orally instead of as a shot. It really burns as a shot & that is why they scream & carry on.

Ivermec resistance varies by location. Here in cattle country Oklahoma, it has been used too widely and for too long. Langston University doesn't recommend it for goats for that reason. We use a couple different things but I can't remember how to spell them right now! One is purple and starts with C!

Cydectin cattle pour on. You also give it orally at a rate of 1 cc per 25 lbs. Some give it at a rate of 1 cc for every 15 lbs. Smells like paint thinner, but my goats swallow it right down.
