Can I use safeguard liquid wormer on a 3 month old calf? I've read the directions, but it doesn't say at what age it's is safe to use. I also have ivermectin 1% injectable. Should I use either of these, or get something different? Thanks for any advice you can offer.

Although it's might be a little hard to find, Copper is a good dewormer. Try a teaspoon in their feed every day for a week, and it should remedy problem.

The injectable is a broader spectrum wormer and that is what I would use.

since you only said calf that would be fine............ but if it is a dairy heifer that will not work you need to use eprinex on it because it has a milk with draw time of 0 and the others have need been tested for that so it could be still in system and your milk years later
