Whats everyone using and dosages please.
Thanks , Patty
I use the powder form and its worked well for me so far. For a 150 lb sheep you need 6.3 GRAINS of powder. Notice the weight is in GRAINS. I dont have GRAM scales to measure it. That converts to 0.41 grams
We're using Safeguard crumbles at the cattle dosage the X2 dosage as per the bag instructions for tape worm (and as prescribed by the vet) and Ivomec drench for sheep as per the bottle dosages. We use injectable Ivomec too, at the cattle dosage by weight.
Wow wish i could get Prohibit⢠Soluble Drench Powder here, we have used Tramisol before but can't get it here any more.
We use Ivomec drench in March, June, November, and Valbazan drench in August. Dose by weight according to directions on the bottles.
Don't use Valbazan for pregnant ewes.
