I think it would be pretty cool to have worms under my rabbits. I only have 2 rabbits. I know a little about worms but not all that much. Does anybody have worms? Can you tell me anything about them? I wouldn't buy them untill spring, to save the trouble of learning how to winter them on such short notice. I think I would build a frame for the rabbit cages, and then have one of those big rubbermaid thingies underneath. In the winter I would insulate it with damp leaves, because I think the water would freeze and keep the heat in the worm box. I would have a shallow trench of vegetables covered with rabbit manure to rot all winter and generate the heat. Does this sound like it would work? I cant bury the worm bins because the dirt in the pole barn where the rabbits are is so hard you wouldn't believe.

    Any ideas? :)
