A friend of mine recently dressed her toddler in camo and his dad took him outside. The dad ran into the house for just a minute and when he got back outside, the boy was gone. Normally this probably wouldn't have been a problem as they live in the country fairly far from the road except that there are woods all around. They frantically looked for him, but since he was dressed in camo--cap, shirt, pants--they couldn't see him and had no idea which way he went. A man driving on the highway saw the little boy in the ditch next to the road following a neighbor's dog. He recognized him and took him home. They would more than likely would have been able to see him if not for the camo.
