orchard? I have 3 acres and am trying to decide what part of the property and which direction to put an orchard.

East, West, North or South

It might depend on what type of trees.
3 years ago I planted plum saplings on south slope.
They were mostly 2 ft when planted. Now they are about
6 ft high growing very well, even fruiting this year.
