I need to pump greywater from a holding tank uphill to a garden -- it needs to gain about 3 feet of elevation, so not much.

I've got a 250 gallon holding tank. It's got a 1" threaded fitting on it for pvc. I just want an inline pump that plugs into the wall to pump with. Everybody gives me blank looks when I ask where I can get one. Didn't think finding a pump like that would be that hard!

    Hmm. The gas powered one?

I'd wanted electric ... oh well, good point about harbor freight. I've been intending to go by there anyway to look at their trailers.

Without actually searching on it it sounds like you're looking for a pump that would be used for, among other things, draining waterbeds. Friends have rented them in the past. Maybe contact a local rental shop and ask about brands/suppliers or if they may have a used one for sale.
