My Grandma has a HUGE old mailbox, I see tiny ones in stores, where can I purchase a extra large steel mailbox at?

Her mailbox is so big I could put two gallons of milk in there!

A Dgs Was Discussing Christmas Shopping In July. He Was 5 Years Old At The Time. Since My Birthday In Is August, I Told Dgs To Make Sure Everyone & The Birthday Bunny Knew That Grandma Wanted A Great Big Mailbox For Her Birthday. So His Dad & Gdad Installed One For My Bday.

I Was Doing A Lot Of Ebaying Along Then & My Mail Lady Was Pregnant And Had To Stop At My Front Door To Deliver Items Too Big For The (old) Mailbox. I Was The First Stop In The Communty And She Is/was So Nice To Do So.

WHen I got my "normal sized" mailbox, we saw a lot at home Depot and Lowes. Kids love to beat them, though, so be prepared. Thats why I don't have one. When they beat my little one, I just reach in and push the dent out. When my Mom used to have one on a rural route, they would use it for target practice. Take the mail out before it gets dark! :haha:

Check your local farmers co-op. I'm in Tennessee and they carry these HUGE ones - and if you don't see it, ask them about it. Support your local farmers co-op.

:) One of my neighbors gets lots of packages, big ones, as he orders lots of stuff online and loves ebay! LOL He has Painted and then mounted a feed barrel on it's side and hinged the lid for a mailbox and package receptacle. It's on a sturdy post and shelf...It works great!LOL
