I am looking for some type of clipper that I saw advertised in some magazine and now I can't find which one!

They looked kind of like hedge clippers but they were on LONNNNG handles, almost as long as hoe handles, so you could clip grass from around trees, etc. while standing up.

Does anyone know what I'm talking about and where to buy these???

These would be great to trim around my grape vines and around my fruit trees....I can't crank the gas powered weedeater any more and you don't need to use those around trees any more.

I think I could really use this tool IF I could just find it. Does anybody know????

Go to www.gemplers.com, click on Crop, Turf, and Nursery Production. A blue list will come up just to the right. Click on Pruning and Cutting, and then click on Telescopic Trimmers. You'll see a long-handled pruning shear, and on the same page is a hedge-trimming head to fit the pruning shear.

Thanks to all who sent messages!
I found exactly what I was looking for at Vermont Country Store for $49.95 and I've already ordered them and should have them by Friday!
    Thank you all!
