I have an azalea that is shaded and crowded out by other plants. When is the best time to transplant them?

The best times to move azaleas are fall and early spring, but make sure you get as many of the roots as possible by digging further out from the bush than you think is necessary (they are surface feeders, so their roots are shallow, but widespread)

Something interesting that I read- every part of the azalea is toxic and so is honey made from them. Who knew?!
