Hi everyone,
My SO and I planted pansies in a half whiskey barrel about a month ago. We also planted hollyhocks behind the barrel and some glad bulbs with the pansies. We planted othert stuff around the yard but something seems to be eating the pansy flowers, some of the green and chewing on the glad foilage and hollyhocks. Its only in that area and no where else and we can't find any evidence of any insects or parasites. Any ideas?
Thanks,
Gloria

:) How high up are the hollyhocks getting munched? They are pretty tall for a bunny to eat. Have you moved any stuff on the ground and looked under it(and under the barrel itself?). I'm wondering about slugs or snails or even earwigs.

Let us know what you find....LQ

I sprayed them all with bug be gone so we'll see what happens. I did find some small spider like things and some webbing so maybe spider mites? I also found aphids on some squash plants but they aren't close by.
