Decided to try out the lobster bisque tonight. Didn't really know what to cook to go with it. So I googled, and;

The best dishes to serve with lobster bisque are sourdough bread, strawberry salad, baked cod, cacio e pepe, rib-eye steak, and corn. Try hot fried oysters and maple candied bacon for unusual but tasty choices. You can also serve roast potatoes, hushpuppies, and cheddar biscuits.

Didn't have any of those things so I made a hamburger. And it was all great! :love:

So I bought a seafood soup sampler. And as I mention before wasn't sure what would taste good with them for dinner. As it turned out a hamburger went well with the lobster bisque and the new england clam chowder went well with a ham sandwich. Last night I tried the maryland crab soup. Wasn't sure the first couple of spoonful's. Kinda spicy. Has peas and corn in a tomato base. Some other things I can't identify. Sitting here eating lunch and I finally figured out the best taste to go with the crab soup. Lays potato chips!! Softens the spice a little but lets the crab taste come through! Now I got the soup frozen in 3 seperate boxes and I got the impression you aren't supposed to thaw and refreeze. And I sure couldn't' eat a whole package. After wiping off the doall band saw blade, I fired it up, hint: don't use a coarse toothed one, a 3/8" with 5 or 6 teeth per inch worked just fine. Wiped it off with a cloth before using, of course. Worked slick! ;)
