It's actually 6 borderline 5. There's a dip in that area, but definately not 7.

So more than likely it is 5,because I was told with the elevation to go with same as Northern Missouri.

That's very likely, I'm in Mansfield, but in our little valley, our climate runs closer to zone 5 than 6. We're in that dip as well. I make sure everything we plant is hardy for zone 5.

I live on Long Island, NY, which is 100+ miles long but barely 20 miles wide, its Zone 7 except for a tiny little stretch running down the center which is Zone 6...
We also have a place in Pa, its Zone 5b, yet 14 miles away (in the valley) its zone 6 bordering on 7!!

Geeeeeez, rockpile, if you live by Lebanon, we're probably related.

    :haha:

I don't know what zone I'm in because I'm also in the Ozarks. Geographically, as far as I can tell, I'm right on the border between 7 and 8. But I live in a bit of a valley, have water on two sides and kind of maybe have water on a third side. So it's humid in general here, but it's REALLY HUMID here. And our freezes aren't nearly as bad as other places.

So --- well, so there's that. :yeeha:

countrygrrrl if we're Kin it would be by Marriage,my Exwifes Kin are down here. Most my Kin are up by Boonville.

If you are down in a Valley I would be more afraid than where I am up here on the Ridge.Wind keeps the air stired up.
