I have a slightly elderly buck who has a smooth patch of bare skin on his throat. It is about 1" by 2" long. There are a couple of loose clumps of hair on the borders.

I never see him scratch it and the skin does not look inflamed, it is just sort of....BALD!

    Any ideas? :(

is he rubbing it on his feed or water dish? he might also have mites. that would be my guess.

Maybe so, but it is the same feeder he has had for 5 years.

What treatment is safe for rabbits?
