What the heck is a LGD?

    I know I'm a little slow with these anachronisms heck I can't even spell it! I just now figured out DH all I could come up with was Dumb Husband but I have not got a clue on this LGD
    Maybe?
    lucky gold duck
    large guard dog
    little gold door
    large garden disk
    lime green dexter

    I'm struggling here

    lgd = livestock guardian dog.

    the most common ones are great pyrenees, anatolian shephard, akbash.

    the thing they have in common is large size and they are bred to protect animals (usually sheep and goats). i know the pyres will protect whatever they are raised with.
