I drove down to Tucson to spend the weekend with my wife. Along the way I stopped at a Flea Market in Globe. This was the first thing to catch my eye as I walked in the gate. I paid $5.00 for it. I am practicing keeping the temp at a constant 375 degrees. By regulating the air flow to the stove, it's pretty easy.
It's just the right size for a pie tin, or two loafs of bread. My All Nighter wood stove wasn't meant to be a cook stove, but the large flat area gets plenty hot. I have cooked eggs and bacon in a frying pan, and pancakes on a griddle all at the same time.
