Do you have an item, you purchase even though it is expensive? One you just love and can't/won't do with out?

I use 99cent shampoo and conditioner
    cheap soap etc,

But I purchases Demalogica products for my face/skin. It is expensive and I order online (cheaper) But I love the way it leaves my skin and will save all my change to buy it.

DH will not purchase cheap shampoo. It has to be T-Gel and nothing else.

So what is you product of luxury????

Coffee by the cup each morning, after driving 9 miles to get it. However the things I learn, and the BS I leave there is priceless.

Cream, for coffee. And, once a year, a bottle of Jameson's Irish Whiskey, to put, drop by drop, into that coffee and cream.

Whole bean coffee. I also buy one pair of decent shoes a year and a bar of really decadent, single origin Columbian 80% dark chocolate once a month or so. I must be overindulging since I can't pick just one!

I have to pick just one? :)

I don't wear much makeup, but when I do it's gotta be good stuff.

Shoes are another item I don't skimp on. I like my puppies quiet and satisfied!

I buy frosted animal crackers that I don't need, shouldn't have and eat before I get home from the store. It reminds me of being a kid. I only buy them about 3 times a year.

whole bean cofffee in a good brand like starbuck, but usually mix Columbian beans with a goumet dark blend.....I grind this on my cheap 20 year old grinder.

Fishing rods and reels. I don't skimp for cheap quality on that.

I don't buy much for myself but I'm with some others - shoes. I have a hard time finding shoes that fit so when I do I want them to last - Rockport shoes, Reebok sneakers, and LL Bean boots. Oh, and I have to have good socks!

Pull ups for my 3.5 yo. My 3.5 yo is not dry yet at night, some nights she would get up and take off her diaper to go potty, then we would have to find a new diaper or I would be doing laundry. As she sleeps with her 11 yo sister, just letting her go is not an option. So I splurge and buy her pullups.

    Joyfully,
    Cheryl

    Good whisky.

The occasional flowers for the wife (it's cheaper in the long run).

I have to have my pizza fix a couple times a month. Bleached white flour, chemicals and all. I get the pizzas from the refrigerated section at Walmart- a package of 2 for $4.23. Then I put extra toppings on them. By the time I add the extra cheese and toppings they're probably $4-$5 each.

DVD movies and classics at the Dollar Tree. The classics usually have 3 episodes per DVD, and the movies are some of them 1 on a disk, and some have 2 movies. These are $1 per DVD. But hey, I don't have cable.

And I MUST have my fiction. If I don't have a book to read I climb the walls. I read several per month (would be more except I'm busy with a lot of stuff). If I can't find a box of books for cheap at a garage sale periodically, I break down and spend $1 each at the dollar store.

Travel. I try to do it as cheaply as possible, but it's a necessity for me. Gotta have something to look forward to!
