I was reading over some of the older threads and came across this one and was wondering what excatly it was. What is it, how does it affect the doe and what does it mean?
    Thanks Lyn

I may be completely off base here but some people refer to their preger does breaking water as cloudbursting. Is that the context of the threads you were reading?

I have never experienced this with any of my goats but as far as I know cloudburst is what is released in a false pregnancy. The doe actually expels a substancial amount of a goopy, cloudy substance and actually can lactate.
