This morning, I wrote out all my shopping lists and we headed to town n pouring rain. Roger took the day off. We had to go to three stores. When we got to Wal-mart, I shoved my notebook with the lists into my pocket becasue of the pouring rain. We were eating our lunch at Subway which is in the store when I went to get my notebook. It was GONE! Roger went back to the truck to see if I had dropped it. It was nowhere to be found! OMG! Realize the list was for stuff for Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and the rest of the week. We don't shop during the week.

I almost cried! I sat down and tried to remember all three lists and wrote them from memory. It took awhile. I do make the grocery list according to the floor plan of the stores so I had to visualize. I only forgot one thing and I don't really need that until next weekend.

    Oy vey!

Good Save! Generally, when I am under that kind of stress, I cannot remake the list...

now that the children are allowed to add things they want to the list, they sometimes have it memorized though. Adding it to the list doesnt automatically mean they will get it...but it has a chance!
