Lotsa new babies! Last Friday, I picked up a couple of 8 week old kittens for the barn - great fun watching them play. Then on Wednesday, Polly, my Saanen, had twins, a buckling and a doeling. Last night, Ivy, one of my little Nigerians, had twins too! Both little doelings.

    Thought you'd enjoy some pictures:

    Polly's buckling - he has wattles! :p

The little Nigerian doelings - that is a nine week old kitten for size comparison.

This one's feisty - she came out kicking and hollering!

Thanks everyone! I have to do some major re-organizing of my barn soon. Apparently, Ivy's twins were sired by a 10 week old buckling.

Ford, I had an awful time finding kittens! Every time we phoned about free kittens, they were already gone. Very strange. But Leeds and Grenville is a tad too far to be going for kittens. So, what do you want? Big or little goats? :p The Saanen buckling will be for sale after he's bred my two grade goats. ;) Guess I'll have to get a move on and get him and his twin registered.
