Some wonderful people who love to sit and listen to our problems, oh well wait, we pay them to listen to our problems, are taking us to ponderosa for dinner. Yummy. I will be good though, I had a party at lunchtime and over ate just a little.

We have switched to the SCDiet (Specific Carbohydrate Diet) because of one of the children. No more gluten, dairy, or starches for us.

Tonight for dinner we're having: Spagetti Squash with homemade maranara & meat sauce.

Ugh. I had Taco Bell for lunch. Bad move.

Dinner will be whatever anyone else wants to make for themselves. I have a client tonight, and will probably just slide by on some tea and toast.

Last night's dinner was very good, though. Meatballs in mushroom gravy over noodles; green beans on the side. :)

The kids are with their dad this week and we are partying every day at work, so I just snack at home. I roasted a chicken with dressing and tied bundles of green beans with a slice of bacon (like Paula Deen taught me) along side the chicken for the last 10 minutes or so on Sunday, so when those left overs dwindle a bit, I'll make chicken noodle soup.

Also have left over pork neck bones and rice with peas which heat up nicely in the microwave.

    Decisions, decisions!

Fried (brown) rice - medium or short grain (can't really remember). Tastes as good as white, to me. :) . We got nappa cabbage in our csa, and carrots, that we will steam and put with left-over grass fed pork chops (cut up), and throw into some rice with tamari soy sauce, garlic, onion, ginger, and crushed red pepper. Yum, and REALLY EASY.

Fried rice is chinese leftovers - rice, small amounts of meat, and veggies from the day before. That tends to be how we eat it, too... as left overs.

I'm so tired of cooking for parties and company, and baking for this and for that. So tonight, and maybe tomorrow night, I'm letting the family fend for themselves. So the sky is the limit. As for myself, I'm thinking of some sliced cheeses, crackers, grapes and a few glasses of wine. :)

Shrimp sauted in garlic with broccoli/angelhair pasta, cheesy potatoes and spinach...'cause that's what my DH wanted for his birthday supper last week and we didn't get around to feasting. DEE

Leftover marinara sauce with hamburger, mushroom, bacon and mozarella cheese, rolled up in crescent dough and baked, with quick and easy marinara sauce on the top. All out of the pantry or leftover!

Last night we had fettuccini alfredo with peas and hot rolls. Today after making chicken salad from the leftover chicken we had on Tuesday I made chicken noodle soup to have for dinner with grilled cheese sandwiches. Tomorrow I’m planning on having pizza and salad.
