What is she? 2 1/2 lbs is a grown netherland and a small nearly everything else. Also check her genitals. They will be red to purple when ready to breed and pale when not.

Mine are around 7lbs at about 5 months old... just shy of breeding age. 2.5 would be closer to butcher age at 12-14 weeks. I have NZ and similar sized rabbits.

I start my New Zealands at about 8 lbs or 4 to 5 months old. How long have you owned this rabbit. If more than 4 months then it should be old enough to breed. Others may start later.
