    Hey folks,
This family really seems like good people-check them out if you are looking for blueberries--I just bought 3--looking forward to pies in maybe 2 years-and enough for some muffins if I am lucky next year...

I would love to grow blueberries. Do you need to protect them from deer?

I have 100 plants and still have go to pick your own farms. you can put netting over them but birds and chipmunks etc will get under the netting.

Thanks treeguy. I know I have lots of chipmunks. They will be harder to exclude than deer.

    A busybody border collie. :D

Of course, it may, in it's fervor, destroy the plants itself when chasing down the squirrel, but mine save more plants than they take out.

Really, they only destroyed things one time. Missy got after a toad.

Then there's this dang sneaky mouse getting my strawberries, and who wants to eat a mouse-nibbled berry?
