Anyone know where I can pick up some Flemish Giants at a reasonable cost to raise for meat? We are just getting started and have one white Flemish Giant, a beautiful doe and want to get some more. We used to have some, but we had to move and we also had to get rid of the rabbits. We are now back on a farm and have plenty of room for them, but don't know where we can find some. We are in Northwest Iowa, so if anyone could help us out, we are looking for about 5 does and 2 bucks.

    Thanks in advance!

we keep flemish but don't have any to sell right now...

Our bunnies came from westercamps in southern iowa --- SOOOO worth the drive. He has great rabbits, he is super with the kids and not really expensive.

The rabbit we got from him last year was reserve grand champ at the buchanan county fair - it was beat by an older satin... our rabbit was still a skinny teenager type bunny - but this year, she is filled out and look out fair!

anyway, keep in mind - you get what you pay for. Cheap rabbits aren't alway the best representitive of breeds.

look online for breeder clubs and the rabbit association for reputable breeders, you won't be disapointed.
