I would like to grow Gourds to use as birdhouses but I have no experience and don't know much about the.

What kind of soil, how big of a plot, etc. Do some of you have experience with this or know a good website that might have good information?

Very easy to grow, just be sure you have something for them run on like a fence to keep them off the ground.
Would a trellis or a cow panel do?

We grow ours the "lazy way" and plant them by a huge cedar tree and let them climb up it...they usually reach the top and it is about 30 feet tall. A little usually goes a long way. I only grow them every other year because we have so many.

I didn't realize they were so easy to grow. We have a sandy clay soil mix so hopefully they'll grow in our soil.

Thanks for the information!!!
