Well, we are waiting to hear on our "firm" offer on some land. Our house is
for sale and hubby will hear tonight if he has the job he wants.

We put an offer in on 5 1/2 acres, was countered offered and we made
our firm price. The house would be on top of a hill which i have always
wanted. It's overlooking pastures and cows.

We are moving rural - yes!

When i initially became a member of this site, i thought is would be 3-5
years. We hit that point that it became a quality of life issue living
here in a suburb (yuk - not for us). We decided not to waste anymore
of the time god has given us being unhappy.

I'ts early in the morning here and i can't wait for the day to be over so
we will have answers to atleast two of these things.

We're in the same boat right now. House is for sale, been looking for, and making offers on property (which is hard because we're 1,200 miles away from our preferred destination. ) and praying that we can get moved before the kids go back to school in the fall. DH & I just came back after spending a couple weeks looking for a place, but the offers we wrote fell through. And, since we've been back DH's job has had him on the road 3 out of 4 weeks, so all of it has fallen on my shoulders. :) But, I feel optomistic that it's all going to work out in the end.

I'm sure your going to get the news you want. Best of luck.

We wish you the best of luck! We got our 5 acres (actually 4.82 acres but why quibble?), 2 years ago. We love it! Now all we need to do is find a nice used tractor......
