I feel like I have accomplished a great success today. I have a freind who is a vegetarian, has been for 7 years, who was grossed out by the thought of eating meat. Mostly because of the chemicals and animal cruelty issues. I cooked rabbit today and she tried it, and liked it! I asked her if she wanted to try goat meat, fully expecting her to say no, and she wants to try that too. I can't believe it. She liked the idea that I raised and butchered my own meat without chemicals and inhumane practice, although I had no idea she would actually eat it..............and like it!

Well done! I particularly like that you just did your own thing (responsible animal husbandry) and invited her to try the meat, rather than trying to convince her that it was okay. You showed her respect and she responded with open-mindedness. :)
