A store here has acorn squash on sale for .35 a pound. I want to get some and freeze it. I've read up how to do that. My question is using it from it's frozen state. I understand you can use it in soups, pies, bread and the like, but we like it baked in the oven with butter and brown sugar.
How does it taste when it is reheated and then butter and brown sugar added so it's basically like fresh roasted squash only in a mashed state?
Anyone use it that way?
