Has he had access to water ?
We have a lot of mushrooms popping up here as of late?
Some of the bushes are also producing berries.
Could it have found some spoiled feed?
If its a broad breasted it might be having a heart attack.

There is water out, he has not been in the coop in the last 4 hours or so we feed them twice a day and there is rarely food siting around, he was totally normal like 4 hours ago, my wife's having a hard time, it's our friendliest bird

Sorry to hear that, will you be opening him to see if you can Identify the problem?
May sound morbid but it could shed light on the cause.

It's not morbid , unfortunately my wife was very upset and wanted to bury him, so we buryed him, under a tree next to the horse pasture

He might have been attracted by some predator.
I have had bird losses like that with few visible signs externally.
Could have crushing internal injuries from dog or something
Like that gnawing it. I know what it feels like to lose good
birds like that,

I am sorry you lost him. Because birds hide symptoms until the are literally too sick to do so anymore, it can be hard for us keepers to make them better. Once we know they're sick, it is sometimes too late.

Blackhead
is a disease that turkeys seem to be more susceptible to than other poultry. If you did necropsy him, and it was blackhead, you'd have found cyst-like things on his liver.
