Looks like we won't be getting anything off it but maybe a breeze...thank goodness.
Most current models are showing it right on top of me Monday.
I'm still hoping for a more Easterly path, but I'm getting ready for a Cat 1 and a long power outage.

I'm getting too old for this.

This one shifts West and slows it's forward progress a little.
It's worse for FL but slightly better for me.:

More slowing and a slightly more Westerly track
Better for me, worse for FL.

The most encouraging thing in this update is the prediction of much earlier weakening:

LOL
Whatever you're doing seems to be working.
The latest update shows more weakening much sooner than before.
Maybe we will all get lucky this time.
I know exactly what it is...I put off cutting grass 'cause I thought I'd wait til after we got all the rain from it...

Now I'll just wait because I don't want to cut it! :ROFLMAO: 👍

Sounds like a good plan. 👍

Until today, these models showed no landfall in FL, and none before it got to NC but now they are predicting landfall around Daytona Beach and then again near Charleston SC:

The GFS model has it coming ashore in South FL.
I don't think that will happen.
The ECMWF still has it making landfall around Daytona Beach.

The center will be very near me around 4 AM tomorrow if this model is correct.

Predictions are 4-6+" of rain and wind gusts 75+ mph along with possible tornadoes:
89937

89938

I fully expect to lose power for a few days since I'm at the far end of the distribution line.

Good luck is your generator ready. We had wind just about all day yesterday but it was not real strong. Thunder shower today.
