I bought a Lamancha cross doe from a goat lady last summer as a milker and she had had triplets last spring. She is due April 2 and is really getting round. I am keepimg my fingers crossed that she will do it again....what a shame if it were all bucks! What wonderful luck you had!

Oh my......that IS a trip eh?

I figured it wouldn't be that bad if you were south of here......we're driving down to Texas sometime late March/early April.

Yes it would be....I haven't driven out of state for 10 years! I did make it to Alaska 5 years ago...by plane of course.

There is a lady that moved to Maine from VT that I'm hoping to hear from...I really would like to improve my herd....milk and vigor...

Good luck ! Have a safe trip!

You know you can ship kids by air, same as puppies? I had a ram lamb shipped from Oregon to Alaska when we were living up there -- he was about eight weeks old -- and he did just fine. It costs a bit, but makes the best bloodlines in the country available to you no matter where you are.
