I asked a question on the cooking and crafts section and got no response.
I asked for recipes for making sausage.
No one wanted to share; had none; or something.
Does anyone here have or know of any that they like?
    Thanks in advance.

    I have never made sausage.

That being said, I bet you could buy the mix at the meat department of a grocery store. I have seen them make it: they just sprinkle powder across the ground meat and mix it in with their hands.

Here's a place to get all the tools and books.
    Cabela's
Are you talking summer sausage, or pork sausage links and patties?

Would like to try a variety - fresh ground, links, and even smoked - pork, venison and others.
    just starting out.

Would like to try fresh spices and etc instead of boughten.
Thanks for all of the replies thus far.

  8. Try looking up Eldons sausage supply. Maybe www.eldonssausage.com . I use to buy from them. They have lots of equipment and supplies. Also you can buy ready made seasoning by the buckets. All kinds of sausage and jerky seasonings.

Another source is Allied Kenco. www.alliedkenco.com They have lots of stuff for sausage and jerky makings also.

Call your local meat packing business or place that processes deer meat, they sell it.
