    How hard is it to replace Oil Seals ? On Jeeps and Pickups.

    Pickup Fords,'84 F150,and '89 Ranger.Jeep '82 CJ5.

    Don't seem that hard,I just figured it would basicaly be the same for all.

    ................BRP , I rebuilt the np205 xfer case in my 77, f250, 4x4, last summer. I had ordered a complete bearing(s) and seal kit from a company in NY. This is the case that is mounted about 3 feet behind the tranny. It weighs around 175 pounds. I had to order a 1 5\16's , half inch drive socket to remove the yoke nut(s) from the 3 drive shaft(s) connected to the 205 . I paid 45 for the socket or buy it from snap on for bigger bucks. Damn thing is heavy enough to do arm curls with.......fordy... :eek: :)
