Tractor Tires

1024 Views 10 Replies 8 Participants Last post by  farminghandyman
I have a JD 1050 4Wdrive.
The front tires are wearing uneven as the one side of the tred is wearing more than the other side as outside vs inside.
Here is the question.
How do I correct/adjust toe in/tow out - that is to say the slant of the tire back to normal or even straight tracking?
I rotated the tires which is a temporary fix but not a long time correction or cure.
Thanks in advance.

Camber isn't normally adjustable on farm tractors....camber is the left and right tilt of the wheel as viewed from the rear of the tractor.

I'm not sure why one tire would be wearing unevenly, unless it had a tire pressure difference or you constantly turned one direction or another while mowing...I'll defer to agmanto on this, as usual. haha.
