Trying to do a lot of bush hogging, and for some reason the pin on the top hitch has now came out twice. Luckily I found the thing this time. Anyway to keep it from falling out?

what kind of hitch? 3 point, or draw bar? There should be a tiney hole through the end of your hitch pin, and there should be a kind of hour glas shaped clip stuck through that hole. That clip is made to keep your hitch pin from comming out of the hitch.

part of the problem with answering these questions is all the different names for pins, tools, and parts that people from all over the country call them

I used to have the same problem. the small sticks, and rocks keep kicking up, popping the lynch pin out, what you need to do is wire the thing down so it cant be bounced out, or drug out by the brush. It just takes a minute and will save a lot of time and effort looking for pins in the brush!

Simple fix......go to a discount store and buy regular padlocks keyed alike and use the locks as pins.
