    Greetings,
This is the first time I have raised weiner pigs, I have pink ones, never thought to ask what type they were.
I have been feeding them mostly free veggie scraps from the market, protein pellets and alfalfa.
I have given them meatless table scraps also.
I was wondering how they would fatten up on a veggie diet?
    Any suggestions?
Also, I was reading about worm problems, should I treat them just to be safe, or wait to see if they get worms first?
I am not wintering them over.

If you see that they are growing then the diet is adequate. If the weaner pigs ears are floppy then they are most likely Landrace breed, straight ears then Yorkshires. Bakery goods are extremely good for growing pigs. Anything that has a lot of shortening such as vegetable oil.
