Got a late start on my garden this year due to the need to finish some fencing. Wondering if I waited to long to plant corn. I'm in zone 8 (Georgia). Main concern is the heat.

I'm planning to plant some yellow dent next week. If you think it may be too late for conventional varieties, you can always plant tropical corn. You can plant it on into June. I'm zone 8b, btw.

I'm in the southwestern corner of France. Fields are being prepared, now, for planting both the sweet and the feed variety.

you've still got lots of time. corn likes the heat. i have planted 90 day corn as late as july 4th, and still get a crop. i don't have mine in yet either- still a chance of frost for another week or so.

You can't plant it that late down here unless you want to feed the bugs and worms a lot of corn.
