You ain't finding them yellow sponge mushrooms yet are you? They come out around early May here.
You better be watchin which mushrooms you're eating.. Heard a guy say he lost 5 wives. 4 died from eating poison mushrooms.
The 5th died of a broken neck!
    She wouldn't eat the mushrooms!

Will, the morels (Yellow sponge shaped like a christmas tree) come out in Oklahoma when the redbuds bloom. I saw the first redbuds on this place yesterday. Always a few morels around, but a warm rain would help.

Man Rockpile, you HAVE been busy!
We usually start mushroom hunting around the end of March through the first two weeks in April. I've got my bucket ready! :)

I have not been to big rockpile's place that he lives at.
But this is what might be the real problem,
and why it's to busy over their.

This might help make it easyer.
The old way were always the best.

First of all big rockpile takes care of
Fishing, Mushroom Hunting,Turkey Hunting and that
is enough to keep a man busy all the time if he is smart.

big rockpile's wife takes care of
Garden, Building the New House, and Cut The Fire Wood.
( Don't forget to have her stack it right. )

Your right about looking for work
( 50 to 100 miles away ) that is to far from home.

( maybe she could ride with someone to work,
and save on gasoline, and wear and tear on the truck )

She needs a job no farther than 4-5 miles from the house, because she will get to far behind her work at home, and the new house won't be ready to move into come winter time.

The fire wood won't be seasoned good enough to burn right either
if cut to late in the season

And the crops in the garden won't get picked at the right time for canning. You don't wont to run short in the middle of the winter because you will start loosing weight.

Your kind of like me, and have a lot of money invested
in the extra cuddley man fat and your wife
loves so much to hug her big bear.

    Remember what they always say;

A womans work is never done,
thats because those type women never get started.

Give you wife the freedom to start, and don't get in the way
and she wont get frustrated tripping over your feet all of the time.

I know you got a good woman just give her all of the tools
she needs to get the job done right.

And above all don't let her work overtime on the new job, because the government will just take most of it in more taxes.

Day light hours are getting longer now
and she should be able to have her part done
before the snow starts next fall. :haha:

bumpus your probably right, and I was just wondering who I would get to drag my Deer out this Fall.

I'm suppose to go with her this afternoon to go look for work. She is trying to find something in her field. We went through this before with her working as an EMT,most of the time she had to stay with the Ambulance, then when she was on call she still had to stay in town.I quit two very high paying Jobs because I was away from home all the time and it just wasn't working out.

She is thinking it will be worth it driving 100 miles for $20 an hour starting out.
