Hi, and, Happy Mothers Day! Any of you knowledgeable garderners, I have a question. Are the # of days listed on the tab, (I.E. Rutgers 88-90 days) from the time the seeds are planted to bearing fruit? OR.... from the time the grower ships them out to bearing fruit?.... Just something I have been wondering as I always notice this on the plants. G.O.R.

When starting tomato plants from seed, they tell you to start indoors 6 to 8 weeks before the average date of the last frost in your area. It is the setout or shipping date that you calculate the number of days from.
